It appears I have a case of ‘I miss my family’. This past week has left me feeling so lonely and the perfect remedy would be to see my three babies (my nieces) whom I seldom face time, primarily because they get bored and run off and leave me to chat to the ceiling. Furthermore, my nephew here in Johannesburg just breaks my heart. He’s at the age where he wants to be left alone; every time I try to smother him with kisses he screams at me and wriggles away. He’s not one of those kids who loves attention. If anything, he’s totally content being alone all day.
In other news, my two besties from Durban are arriving tomorrow and I am beyond excited! I need a dose of ‘home’ to feel like myself again. I actually spring-cleaned my house today, in anticipation of their arrival. I want to plan some fun activities but I’m not really clued up on what’s happening here in Jo’burg. If you have any suggestions please do let me know otherwise we’re just going to spend the weekend eating.
For this outfit choice; I don’t consider myself a trendy person as I rarely follow trends. I buy items that suit my body and my personality, however I did try out the mule trend. I must be honest, I bought these mules because the shoes I originally wore to the mall were hurting my feet. I don’t really like the overall look of mules although they are comfortable!
