Hey there,
I hope you all are having a wonderful week. Mine was quite busy and I feel like I need a few days to just sleep off this exhaustion! With just over a week left until Eid, I am bursting with excitement to see my family – going home for me is like a car going in for a service. I feel shiny and new and ready to tackle life on my own. What I am looking forward to the most is having a home-cooked meal that I do not have to prepare! I’m craving an indian dish; the most indian meal I’ve made is a salad with dhania (coriander).
In other news, I feel like I have grown so much over the past few weeks. Life has been teaching me a few lessons and all I can say is that I am so grateful for my upbringing… You get some really shitty people out there. If there’s one lesson I can share it’s that you should keep to your word no matter what emotional state you’re in. A good character is more valuable than anything else in this world!
That’s my life lesson for the week… I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
