Hello dear readers,
I hope you all are well. My apologies for my absence. The past few weeks were hectic for me. I was balancing work, my sister and my mood. My sister visited my for about three weeks which was such a pleasure – I really missed her so having her with me felt a bit like life back in Durban. I took full advantage of having a little sister aka servant as I needed some sort of payment for having to take her to all her favourite eating spots.
With that being said, I was also feeling really emotional. I don’t know if it had something to do with the stars or whether it was just me adjusting to life ( yes I’m still adjusting!). I found myself second-guessing every decision I made. Its always easier to stay in your comfort zone and never have to endure any sort of hardship but wheres the fun in that? I sometimes feel like rewinding my life but I realised that things will never be the same – this applies to life, work and relationships; theres no point in holding onto something that’s over.
Eventually I snapped out of my regressive mood and realised that I am actually so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to live my dreams. The life I am living is the life I was praying for not so long ago and I wouldn’t trade this opportunity for anything…
What I’m Wearing:
Quraisha and I met for a coffee at Kamili on Long Street and ended up doing an impromptu photoshoot. I must mention that their cafe mocha is one of the best I have tasted! Definitely give it a try but please be vigilant as it is in town! The jacket was a bargain purchase from Define at Stuttafords. I think it was about R200 on sale. Score!!! The jersey is from Cotton On (my favourite store for comfort-wear). These jeans are from Bershka and they’re my absolute favourite. I wear them too much actually. The polar neck is from River Island which is so perfect for layering.
